transport system: no mounts (for now): you travel by running at high speeds, leaping into the air and gliding down heights and distances (Qing Gong).

recently a wall-walking ability called "Ascension" has also been announced.


visually stunning:

no gear system: Bo-Pae (type of socket) system allows you to wear whichever gear you want and simply "socket" your desired stats through collecting Bo-Pae slices

artistic: Magna Carta artist Hyung-tae Kim was hired by the Blade & Soul developers to be the artistic director of Blade & Soul. he is said to personally accompany the development of the game, character, weapon, armor design etc...

story-driven: it is said that Blade & Soul will have a story line in which players will have to fight back an impending evil, but also a more personal story of vengeance and repentance as players seek to avenge a death that happens in the beginning of the game.
cut scenes from the early levels help this story unveil. developers have said that even once players obtain this vengeance they will have new goals.



well that's my review, it took longer than expected and I'm sorry i didn't get into much detail as i've been very sleepy writing this confused

lol, just found these two articles about what appears to be field trips of the B&S team
